  Old versus New Model

  You probably read that some models do not have tachymeter function, while others have. After reading the reviews and doing research on the web, here how to differentiate between the old vs new version of 9211. I believe it is correct, but not guaranteed.The old version of 9211 uses Miyota OS20 movement. This is the movement with true tachymeter function. The large second hand is used only for chronograph function. The small second subdial at 6 o'clock is used for counting seconds. You can tell the difference on the dial. The subdials are closer together. There are room for small index at 3, 6, 9 o'clock, just outside the subdials. The stock photo used by Amazon is a photo of the old version.The new version of 9211 uses a different movement. As far as I can tell, it does not match any of the Miyota movement. It is very similar to JS20, except JS20 has 30 minute total counter while 9211 has 60 minutes.   Better in person than online - nice timepiece

  When I ordered this watch I was expecting to get exactly what I paid for....a $95 watch, but what I received far surpassed my expectations. First, the box it came in was ginormous and well protected. Seriously you could have fit 3 or 4 of these watches in that thing, and it included a suede or suede-like polishing cloth as well.The watch itself was covered in a clear protective film which was easily removed. Upon inspection the first thing I noticed was the face and how it has a very detailed raised background which adds a lot of class to the watch. An additional nice feature is the screw down crown which allows you to "lock" down the dials without worrying about water getting into the watch through the adjustment shafts. Invicta didn't overlook the details here, and it shows.A quick review of the included guide and I had the second hand adjusted to the 12 o'clock position and it was ready to go.   Another great look-alike

  Loving the look of the Rolex Daytona, I spotted this watch on Amazon and just had to have one (at the price).Arrived in a well padded display box, with all parts of the watch and strap covered in a protective plastic - so no scratches.Taking out a few links for that custom fit just took a couple of minutes.The watch looks great - better than the images on the Web - and it works as described.Other posters that have had issues should read the manual!   sturdy with good support and comfy

  i ordered several kinds of sandals just prior to our trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. i knew the days would be warm and we'd be doing a lot of walking. These were one of the only pairs true to size (10.5) and had the best arch support - more like an open-air shoe. I've been wearing the all day for the last 2 weeks. On the first day, I felt some high spots (may have been my imagination), but no blisters or real discomfort. I don't know if they molded to my feet or just needed some breaking in, but they've been really comfortable every day since.   I have had my Daytona for over a year now. This is one of the most recognizable watch on the market today. Also one of the most prestigious. From its connection with Paul Newan to the racing histories, this is a must have for any collectors. This is the only chronograph that Rolex makes, also one of the most rare. Personally, I feel this is one of the most balanced watch that Rolex makes. It is comfortable and has understated elegance. You will see Datejust and Submariner on just about every other corner.   The treasured daytona

  If you own a Daytona, as I do, that is all you have to say.People who know them, pick up on them right away. They are scarce, and hard to get. That is why if you can get one at jeweler retail $7500, you are lucky.You can be around people who wear Rolexes, and the sophisticated ones notice it right off the get go. Walk into any jewelry store, and the counter people notice it as you walk in. Its a rush.Did you know that Rolex prohibits sales people from wearing a Daytona in their stores because customers become angry when they notice them, and find out how few of them are allocated to a store. The waiting list goes to their better customers, and can take years to move up.If you like the watch, bite the bullet, and buy it.   Not The Best!

  My original droid x battery was terrible. It went from 100% to 30% in 10 minutes of use and this one goes from 100% to 5% in about a two hour period of use. The "new" battery jumps from 30% to 5% in a few minutes. I don't even have that much stuff running on my phone. The new one takes a while to charge like a battery should but then doesn't last like you would think it would.   Bought this brush after reading great reviews and watching pro videos and thought this would work wonders on the rims and brakes on my 01 land rover discovery. For 45 bucks I thought it would be a fix all as the videos showed it that way. Wrong. Did not even wipe off the rims. Like cleaning your wheels with a baby bottle bristle brush. A disappointment to say the least. Buy the mothers long handled brush.   I used this brush for about 12 times, and although it did a good job, it broke.   The brake dust on my 2010 Audi S4 is horrible; the brake pads are very soft and it's hard to keep up with the black dust. I'm anxiously waiting for a brake manufacturer to release ceramic pads for this car, but in the meantime I've found some salvation.The Daytona Speed Master brush and a bucket full of sudsy Dawn detergent helps to get four nineteen inch wheels spotlessly clean within ten minutes.   Just received this stunning Invicta Speedway chronograph today, and I must say that I'm genuinely impressed. This black-faced watch crafted in solid stainless steel has exceeded my expectations for any timepiece at the $130 price point. For starters, the watch comes housed in a bright yellow box with black lettering and logo on the top. Once open, the Speedway greets you while wrapped around a velvet-like pillow of the same case color (real classy).Finding the owner's manual and warranty papers is kinda tricky...they are hidden behind the 'ceiling' panel of the box. The manual instructions are broad, but I didn't have any problems getting the watch started....ON WITH THE WATCH!!!The Speedway's heft is good...does not feel cheap or loose at all. You can really feel the weight of the center-piece. The links are solid and brushed stainless steel, while the center has a polished effect.   I really wanted to like this watch, but instead, I'm disappointed. I had a list of features I wanted and I'll go through those as a guide for others with my reaction on each.1. Good looking?   My purchase of this watch was the result of a lot of investigation, comparison, and interviews. I wasn't sure this was the watch for me, but Amazon's price was too good to pass up. Now that I've had the watch 2 days, I can say without reservation that I LOVE it. It is a classy yet sporty watch. To me the watch face is timeless (no pun intended).   home town track

  This was a wonderful family movie, nice plot, great driving scenes.It was filmed at our home town racetrack and our friend #15 Jeff Smith was visible a few times as well as other local drivers. Which made the movie even more exciting.   Dirt to Daytona Review

  I've been playing video games all of my life, racing games the most. I must tell you that Dirt to Daytona is one of THE BEST racing games I have ever played. This game is a solid 10!! I give two thumbs up to Infogrames. Nascar Heat was a great game that needed just a little bit more to make it a ten. The guys at Infogrames made all the right corrections and have what I feel is a must have for any body who loves racing and racing games as much as I do. The game packs in so much information with the 4 different divisinos of NASCAR that I thought the speed of play would be lacking or that details would be left out; giving us a poorly developed game. I'm very happy to see that this did not happen and that game play, especially with the 43 car Winston Cup field, did not suffer one bit. I would recommend this game to anyone. Thanks Infogrames for taking the time to make such an awesome product!   Now I'll admit I am only a casual Nascar fan but I've played a lot of Nascar racing games from both the EA series and the Heat series and Dirt to Daytona has set the standard for the future of racing games. It has 4 racing circuts built into one, a competive AI, and gives the player the ability to create his car and choose his or her sponsors. There are a lot of other great things about this title so I will explain them to you. The real great thing about this title is the awesome career mode. This game really focuses on how you get to Winston cup status instead of just placing you there. You start with little money to build your car while you race on dirt tracks in small towns in the south going through heats for small sums of money. As you earn respect, you will be presented with sponser choices to place on your car. The more sponsors you have, the more money you will make per race.   good but lost some of the enjoyment of heat 1

  Nascar Heat 2 is a great game. Just having the 4 series alone is awsome but the game play is quite impressive with the full field of cars. I enjoy the first Heat game more just because it seemed more realistic but either one of these games out shines the annoyances of Thunder a game which lacks realism. Until EA can get their sports games back on track Ill stick with Infogrames.The games misfortunes are with the full field of cars. Only 25 or so are real Winston racers. The rest are just fill-ins which is understandable since some Nascar teams have a licensing deal with EA probably. And like I said, the game just isnt as realistic or fun as the first game.(why would Harvick be in the truck series? He ran two or three races this year. Theres quite a list of more impressive drivers who they could have put into the truck series.) 4/5 0, November 25, 2002
