    The Best Club Penguin Game!

I originally bought this for my son thats 11 years old. My daughter thats 6 also enjoys playing Club Penguin. All of us have memberships with Club Penguin. This is something we have played for years (I believe 4 or 5 years). I found Club Penguin to be one of the most kid friendly games, that is not too kiddy that the older ones wont play. We got this game on release day and the whole family is playing it. If you play story mode you can beat all 4 team colors to get coins and earn stamps. Once you have played all 4 team colors and beat each of the 4 teams, you have beat story mode. You can pick easy, normal or hard modes. Which makes it great for all ages. The coins and stamps will easily, transfer to your Club Penguin Account online. The games are challenging enough to keep you interested in the game. There are some other party type games that are just too easy or too hard for the family. This fits us perfect for the different ages. Even if you don't have a online Club... 5/5 Daisy - See all my reviews = Fun:, September 23, 2010

Its not bad for a bargain game, perfect for CP fans

This game is probably a lot better than most of the bargain priced Wii games out there. I wouldn't recommend paying more than twenty dollars for it though. The game mostly consists of playing the same few mini games over and over again. You have to have a club penguin account on the website and your Wii connected to the internet to make full use of this game. You can create a club penguin website account for free, you don't have to be a member to use this game. Its pretty much a waste if you don't do those 2 things as there really isn't any point to playing the game if you don't have a club penguin website account. Its basically for club penguin fans only. Also you have to get a new copy that is sealed, because the game includes a code to link your club penguin account to the game, so if you buy a used one the code will be already used up most likely, then you would be stuck with what is pretty much a worthless game. So this game is pretty much worthless as soon as you... 5/5 Outrun1986 - See all my reviews = Fun:, April 28, 2011

A family fun, educational Summer themed release featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends.

"MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE" is a children's television animated series (presented in CG) that airs on the Disney Channel's "Playhouse Disney" block targeted towards pre-school children. The series is created in a similar style as "Blue's Clues" and "Dora the Explorer" in terms of the main character interacting with the viewer. "MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE" features Mickey Mouse as the main character communicating with his friends and then occasionally looking towards the viewer for help in a variety of adventures.Mickey Mouse uses a variety of tools and a compass to help them solve their problems and get from point A to point B.For this DVD release of "Mickey's Big Splash", the theme revolves around the Summer time. The episodes features a total of four episodes (24:05 minutes each) which include: 1. Donald's Ducks - This bonus episode features Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy. When will Disney release what MMC fans really want to see?

I was disappointed in this DVD. Once again, it shows a typical complete show which includes newsreels, various series, a Mouseketeer segment, and cartoons. I don't care about news, cartoons and just one episode of a series. I know many fans of the MMC would love to just see the Mouseketeer performing segments from seasons 1, 2, and 3. What a treat it would be to have these classic song and dance performances available. They could be released as Season One, Season Two, etc. I also know that fans would buy individual DVDs of the wonderful series such as Spin and Marty years 1, 2, and 3..The Hardy Boys, and especially the Annette series. Disney, please do this for all fans. I would buy each and every DVD you released and I believe that all true MMC fans from years ago would do the same!! 3/5 J. Do your best mouseketeers in everything that you do.

I want to be very kind in writing this because Jimmie was kind. I don't believe that he would feel like his former employer did their very best when putting out this DVD. Let me explain why. For one thing, I was expecting the very same visual quality that we have on "The Walt Disney Treasures The Mickey Mouse Club". It's not there. If you have that DVD set you probably know how crisp everything looks. Obviously, a great deal of clean up went on with those shows. In this DVD, all five shows, at least in my opinipn look dingy and dirty. Not at all clear. The sound quality is not nearly as good as The Walt Disney Treasures. Now, pertaining to the shows that they used, if you own the ten volume VHS set that Disney put out several years ago, you already own all five of these episodes. You would think that someone would use some creativity and go way back in the vaults and use some rarities that were not within the ten volume set. It appears to me that they just grabbed what was convenient... 1/5 Judith Molly (Somewhere USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: The Best of the Original Mickey Mouse Club (DVD) I want to be very kind in writing this because Jimmie was kind. Bare Bones

I wasn't expecting color, so why does the back cover say this is in color? It doesn't mention black and white at all. I thought maybe they'd throw in the color version of the animated opening. Nope. The only thing in color are the obnoxious previews Disney puts on every product. Even the color cover with Walt and the Mouseketeers leads you to believe there might be some color. And yes, the prints are dingy. Each episode appears to clock in at a little over 20 minutes. Was something cut from each one? They didn't show as many commercials in the 50s, so I can't imagine they were this short. And it is inexplicable why they give air dates of the 1960s for three of the five shows. I believe it was off the air by 1959. Look, for this price I don't expect perfection. Notice the cover says Digitally Mastered, not Remastered. But you do kind of expect a little bit more out a Disney product. These barely rise above the level of kinescopes you have to view for a lot of 50s material... 3/5 Robert Barker (Burbank, CA) - See all my reviews, July 16, 2005

    Club Penguin rocks.

(parent & child co-review): I bought this for my 3rd grade son who has been doing Club Penguin on line for a year. He loves Club Penguin and also loves his Nintendo DS (indispensable for us parents on long trips). It was a no brainer for the Thanksgiving long plane trip. The game has the exact visual appearance and game play style of Club Penguin's spy missions. My son basically disappeared for hours with this (for better or for worse). He played for a 3 hour stretch on the plane coming home. That's direct evidence that this game has some serious game play value.Ben's review:"I think the game is very fun. When you get used to it, playing is more fun than you'd expect stepping down from the PC to a DS game. It is fun in lots of different ways 1) because you get to solve missions you don't see on the regular on line game. 2) You get to earn badges, get to wear stuff that helps you on your way. 3) You can help people for prizes. The code that comes with the DS... 5/5 Joshua G. Feldman "Technophile" (New York) - See all my reviews, November 30, 2008

    very entertaining

i loved this game. there are a couple good reasons why this game is great. i would not recomend this game for people who can not read or write. reason number 1: the mysteries are not so easy that you can figure them out right away. reason number 2:it is just realy fun. now here is one bad reason. it is hard at the very beggining. but overall it was a fantastic game. im 10 years old. 5/5 edmomqby (New York) - See all my reviews = Fun:, January 9, 2009

Was fun for about 2 weeks...

My 8 year old daughter received this game for Christmas. At first, it was fun playing the mini games and solving the missions. Now that we are 97% done with the game (it won't tell us what we are missing to be at 100%) it has become a bore. My daughter doesn't even want to play it any more - she wants ME to play it so I can upload coins to her online club penguin account every day.Pros -can upload 2,000 coins to online account every daysome of the missions really make you think.Cons - The mini games are fun until you realize that the coin location in JetPack and Snow Trekker are always the same. Once you memorize them, they're not fun any more. The dance game seems to have a bug in it. Once you get past 8 moves, it starts telling you that you made wrong moves when you didn't! Playing with 2 DS's and one catridge is a joke. You can only play the dance game against your friend and when the game is over, your friend's DS... 3/5 0, January 7, 2009

    Surprisingly decent

First off, it says on the back of the box "This product is not a toy and is not intended for children under 9 years of age"......However I ordered them for our 3 year old who, without details is quite advanced for her age, for use while listening to her ipod, laptop or dvd player in the car. So spare me the "bad parent" sermon and keep reading for a review on the headphones....We didn't want a pair that only allows minimal sound like most children headphones...due to the fact that any I have purchased prior didn't block out other noise and therefore were not loud enough to hear. She knows how to adjust volumes to decent levels which having the volume control on these Jack Skellington headphones were a plus for us and adjust nicely. I tested the sound quality on them with a range of different music genres and have to say they are pretty decent. Not nearly as good as my Crossfade Vmoda's but definitely better than my husband's $50 Subjekt's.
