  Fun... But for little kids!

  I'm not a little kid. I'm 10 yrs. old and LOVE Hannah Montana! So got got this game. The point is to finish the mystery. There is 3 missions to complete. I finished the game the day i got it! And this is a game you can't play over because you know what will happen!PRO's:Fun while it's lastingGood for kids who love to figure stuff out but not best at it.cute graphicsCon's:Annoying musiceasy to beatnothing to do after you beat itMy say is to get the game for kids ages 5-7 or 8.   Depends....

  I think if you like this game or not depends on how big of fan you are of the show Hannah Montana. I think this game is pretty good, I'm not saying it's the best game ever but it's ok.You are Miley and someone is threatening to spill your identity to everyone. Your job is to figure out who. There are 2 mysteries to solve with 3 parts; the first mystery has 2 parts, and the second, 1.The Characters:Miley- You play as her.Lilly- She's always by your side, tap on the question mark in the corner and she pops up to remind you what's going on when you need her.Oliver- 1 of the "in the way" people. Helps you out by giving you Gagets to find clues and clothes.Jackson- Another "in the way" people.Amber & Ashely- Another "in the way" people.Other Characters- We don't know them from the show, but the lead you to other clues.Ok, so what I mean by "in the way" is they block something you... 5/5 0, December 31, 2006

  A Fair Outlook

  As a Hannah Montana fan, I really loved this game. I'm 17 and it kept me fairly entertained for a good period of time. All the characters looked like themselves to some degree and it was very entertaining. The only things that bothered me were the random people working at the mall and other places like that, but I suppose they were necessary to the storyline.As a gamer, I found the game seriously lacking. The controls were terrible, you couldn't move without tapping the touch screen. The music wasn't that great. And one of the most disappointing things were that the changes made in the wardrobe had no effect on the clothing worn in the actual game so the whole wardrobe feature is virtually useless. Also, the game itself was far too short. The difficulty was appropriate considering the target audience(which I'm assuming is 7-12 year olds), but the game was rather simple for anyone in my age group(over 14).Overall, I liked it, but only because I really like the... 4/5 0, May 19, 2007

  Lots of great vintage footage -- rare World's Fair stuff....

  This DVD was packed -- most documentaries that I've bought were usually 30 to 45 minutes long. I can'tbelieve they got so much stuff on this DVD. The only thing I didn't like is much of the informationis presented in Subtitles (kinda like VH1's "Popup Video" show) --I would have preferred a narrator.The footage from Coney Island and Disney World in the 1960s was great. They had some stuff fromdefunct Cypress Gardens and Freedomland, too. If you are a theme park junkie -- you'll probablylike it. 4/5 B.   Footage wonderful but...

  The vintage footage is wonderful. However, it would have been nice to have some narration about the scenes and the separate parks instead of just subtitles listing some facts. I'm only really knowledgeable about Disney parks and did notice an error. They called the Submarine Voyage attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This makes me wonder how many other mistakes were made. I also got very tired of the generic music that was playing and finally turned the sound off.   We were so excited to see this movie. My wife is writing a book on vintage amusement parks, so we thought this would a lot of fun.OK. So, we'll start with the good stuff.There truly is some great footage. Wonderful vintage Disneyland, Coney Island, and the World's Fair of 1964, and then a bunch of parks in Florida. Apparently that's all that was available.Well, that's it for the good stuff.The new footage is fine, I'm guessing filmed for the video program itself, although some strange shots that don't feel like they add to the park.And then we come to the editing. Sometimes it feels like there is some sort of a narrative going on--starting early in the morning, the rides are empty, the park is just starting up, then the crowds come in, everyone's having fun, and then the evening arrives, the lights turn on and eventually everyone goes home happy and the park goes to sleep once again.
