  We just got back from Disneyland and we followed the guide to a T..and it was amazing on how many rides we got to go on, without waiting in line. The longest wait we had was 15 minutes!   Super helpful

  When we went to Walt Disney World, we got the WDW version of this book, and its Touring Plans really helped us organize and see what we wanted to see in a short trip during peak season. So when we decided to go to Disneyland this year, it was a no-brainer to buy this book. We also purchased the online access which provides additional useful information, like projected park hours and crowd calendars to help you plan. I was trying to decide whether to book a reservation at the new Carthay Circle restaurant, but couldn't find a menu anywhere to decide what "expensive" meant and whether they'd have anything my picky-eater son and vegetarian self would eat. Then I went to the book's online resources and there was a menu. Well worth the money if you like to plan.   I love Disney!

  I would never take my family to Disneyland or Disneyworld w/out the unofficial guide.   Great graphics and amazing attention to detail, although game play can be a little repetitive

  In many ways, Kinect Disneyland reminds me of the game Epic Mickey that came out for the Wii last year. It's a fantastic concept and the attention to detail will absolutely delight die-hard Disney fans, but gameplay itself can be a little shaky at times. But overall, it's a winner, especially if you have younger kids in the house who are always begging you to go to Disneyland or Disney World.The concept and the graphics of this game are amazing. You start the game out at the Train Station and the scene swoops onto Main Street USA, which should be familiar to anyone who's been to the parks. You define your character by choosing a boy or a girl, and give him or her a face (you basically can choose one by race), and then a hair style, hair color, shirt, and pants. There's only limited customization you can do (I'm guessing you can't use the Xbox avatar because it's just too cartoony for this world).You meet a "magic ticket" that tells you how to move around.   Bring Some Magic from Disneyland Home.

  Wow! I've only played a couple hours, but wanted to share some impressions.I've been to Disneyland a handful of times and the park is faithfully recreated in the game. Playing it brought back memories from my actual visits.Presentation: The graphics are very nice and colourful as you'd expect, its amazing how much detail they put into the park and all the tourists, you hear bits of conversation while walking from tourists. The Disney Characters are wonderful as are their voices. The Music is perfect and properly placed, such as the teacup song in the wonderland area of Fantasy Land. I did notice very minor pop up and a couple snags when rotating quickly or riding the dumbo type rotating rides, but its nearly perfect.The Gameplay: There is so much to do, I was happily suprised with the variety.   Great game for 10 year old typical child amazing for autistic son first video game he ever played in 13 years of life!!!

  Ditto on the positivies thus far, as far as the most helpful negative review have you tried saying XBOX fast travel. Then a menu with things you can say comes up. You can get very far, very fast with this.My ten year old typical was definitely a huge boon to sortig out this game, but my autisitic son loves the peter pan flying game. We own a wii, and an xbox,I've bought so many games from walle to toy story on wii, to sesame for kinect(I still have hope, he's been under the weather since we got that one). But this disney game always brings a smile to his face.Fast travel is very nice, even my daughter still uses it sometimes but she has also figured out you can just point straight ahead.   I bought this board game for my girlfriend as one of her Christmas presents. She is really into the whole Disney Princess motif, so this twist on Candy Land was something that she would appreciate.   Picked this one up at the Main Street Music Shoppe, and basically I was looking for a more extensive Tiki Room track other than the song only included in Official Disneyland Theme Park cassette, and the track did have more added dialogue of parrots conversing around traditional song. This collection also has more elaborate works of other songs, including Splash Mtn. which has a solid eight minute length featuring all of the song mixes in the ride. For some reason, they included Great Outdoors for an extinct ride I'm sure was already gone when this thing was issued, but there it is. Also pleasant additions to previous theme park music releases is the pre-vamped Star Tours with basic ride track. All in all this is a good Disneyland theme park music highlight with ten minute firework theme as finale of Magic In The Stars presentation.   Characters With Personality

  This is a very solid series, and it seems ideal for readers who are ready for a book that is just a bit more advanced than a basic chapter book. The four girls who are transported to Pixie Hollow, (Fairyland), have distinct personalities and are more developed as characters than I've generally found in books like this at this reading level. There is a plot, some action, a bit of adventure, and some common sense decision making. Not to be a wise guy about it, but the heroines are not fashionistas, or shallow mean girls, or drippy incompetents. They have a little oomph and they are generally engaging. There is a good give-and-take dynamic within the group.(In this regard they are very reminiscent of the little girls in Vivien French's "Tiara Club" sets of books.) The writing is serviceable and not overly cutesy. The cloying sweetness you can get in some of the older-style Disney offerings is kept to a minimum. These are very straight forward books.   This is one of those films that I expected to enjoy much less than many of my family's Disney favorites. As it turned out, both my children and my wife and I like the movie immensely.The touching story of Little Foot, the last remaining member of his family of Brontosauruses (Brontosauri?), is a great adventure as well. He joins up with younger members of other dinosaur families as they all journey to the Great Valley in search of food. Along the way they encounter hunger, thirst, earthquakes, and, not least of all, the dreaded Sharptooth. The feel of the dinosaur age is well presented and the characters are cute without being saccharine (and they don't sing!). The lesson that friends can be friends even though they don't look like you or act just like you is a nice one for kids to see.   A lot of people are commenting about how negative and depressing this movie is. Well, not all kids are looking for a rainbows-and-cotton-candy kind of film.   I just recently pulled this video out to watch with my three year old daughter and a flood of emotions surged through my veins. What a masterpiece this truly is! Dinosaurs are a species of animals that have always had a dramatic allure and fascination in regard to younger individuals, and what better way to instruct children in the many aspects of life via a movie of this description? Although some scenes are a bit heavy (i.e. the extremely tragic death of Littlefoot's mother-- a scene that still brings tears to my eyes) there are many others that completely compensate. This movie is heart-warming.   Nothing but fun!

  I bought this item for my grandson for his 4th birthday. It was a hit!! He carries it everywhere with him. He has dropped it and it has held up, the sails are attached well, the cannon (missiles) shoot about 18 inches but without any force so friends or babies would not be hurt if one hit them. The crocodile pops out, the parrot has many perches on which to sit, and the button for the beginning of the song is easy and handy. All in all this turned out to be much better than I imagined. The educational value is what you make of it. If you are an involved parent there is rich vocabulary to be taught here. My grandson is now proficient in all the terms regarding the pirate ship, but most educational is the creative play that it has inspired.   Bucky is a big hit!

  Customer Video Review Length:: 0:33 MinsMy 4 year old is an enduring Thomas the Tank Engine fan, but his second love has been the Disney animated series "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" which is based in Peter Pan's Neverland (and Peter Pan guests in a couple of episodes). The only problem was that they only had one season for a long time, and he grew tired of it after frequent re-watches. However, recently there have been quite a few new episodes featuring Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Skully, Captain Hook, Smee, Sharky, and Bones that he has absolutely loved. (After I found the book many years later) I was surprised to find out that I remembered almost all of the pictures inside it. (It's a big book) I'm not sure what happened to my cover, but this book will be what I use to put my future child or children to sleep, just as my father did me.   An OK Book

  I'm an elementary school teacher and a Disney nut, so naturally I wanted to share these stories with the kids I teach. I found them to be much longer than the attention span of the kids I teach. I also read one story - Snow White - and there was quite a bit of death and adult themes at the beginning. The kids were kind of perplexed by all of this. It is great for nostalgia purposes and if parents were reading them as bed time stories (except the carnage parts). 3/5 A.   This book was rated as being in "VERY GOOD" condition. I went to open the book and the cover almost fell off. There's only a little bit of glue holding it on the spine.
