  This book is very basic

  The passporter guide to the disney vacation club provided much of the same information we already knew. We were looking for a book that went beyond the basics and was more insightful before we made our decision about purchasing a property from the vacation club. This book was o.k. in describing many of the possible facilities but the information is no more than you could get from Disney itself and many other free resources. 3/5 Robert L.   Buy this, then buy into Disney Vacation Club

  I had always wanted a Disney timeshare, and finally I took advantage of various discounts and promotions and bought 160 pts at the Grand California in Disneyland.The book had so many pointers, suggestions and questions I could have asked if I had known I needed to know. I usually research much more, but this book wasn't published when I took the leap. After reading it, I am sure I am going to love the next decades of Disney Vacation Club ownership.   This book does not provide much more information than you get from Disney itself when you look on their website or get their DVC sales information.   I Want To Do Disney With This Guy...

  I really liked this book! My husband is an obsessed Disney World fan, so that's pretty much the only place we vacation (he bought an RV almost solely for use at Disney's Fort Wilderness to eliminate the hassle and cost of dealing with hotels...he's committed). We usually go a couple times a year, depending on where the military has us stationed at the time. If we're within 12 hours of driving (I don't fly...sorry Leonard), then according to him, we're close enough!Having been to the parks so many times I thought I knew it all and was pretty smug about my Disney expertise...turns out, I didn't know jack. I loved the stories of he and his friends roaming the parks, going down to the Utilidors (something I MUST do now...thanks), and all the tips and tricks he's come up with through the years. While many are not tips and tricks I would personally use (what with them being illegal and all), they were still funny to read about. Whether it's a biography, behind the scenes tell-all, or just a general history book, there is no shortage of books on the topic.But every so often, you come across a book that is a little bit different than the rest...a little bit off, if you will. Something that really grabs you by the shoulders, shakes you a bit, and yells "Hey, look at me!" Well, today I'm here to talk about The Dark Side Of Disney, by Leonard Kinsey, the latest book to do that to me.The Dark Side Of Disney is NOT your typical travel guide.   Something new for Disneyphiles

  This was a purchase for my sister who is a huge Disneyphile. While everyone in our family fall under that category, she lives in Southern California and frequently flies to Florida just to go to the parks. She know everything about the parks. So, I saw this and thought that this had to have something she didn't know!As I went to wrap it, it took me forever, because of course, I had to open it to see what it contained! This book is chock full of information, but beware, this is truly the "Dark Side" and for adults only. Do not leave this book lying around for your children to see.Among fun anecdotes, it also tells you have to scam money, places to have sex without getting caught and places you can get into to sneak around.My sister loved it (not that she would do any of those things)...and learned something new 4/5 Angela R.   The Unknown Disney

  Despite several visits to Walt Disney World, until I read this book I wasn't even aware that concierge services existed. So, it was interesting to read about the lounges and the food, and the special perks.   A COOOOOL Book!!!!!!!!!!

  I loved this book especially the Disney World bits. Disney World is cool I should know!When Baby Sitting clients The Pikes win a cruise and Holiday they invite Stacey and Mary-Anne along as 'Mothers Helpers' as they do at Sea City. Then Kristy Step-Dad Watson orginizes a trip for Kristy and the family AND invites Claudia and Dawn along as guests. Well of course they have lots of adventures. Dawn falls for a boy called Parker, Kristy finds her Nannie a Boy Friend, Mary-Anne meets a Little Liar, Claudia meets a cute guy called Timothy and Stacey makes friends with a boy called Marc who is suffering a heart disease. AND Byron Pike finds treasure and Karen Brewer gets a MANICURE! They have a ton of fun in Disney World especially when Karen meets a 'hitchhiking' Ghost. And they still have time for BABY SITTING! But can they think of a gift to thank the Pikes and Brewers?   First and Best Super Special

  Okay, I may be one of the few people here that read these books when they first came out. I was 12 when the series started, and they were SOOO popular.I thought this, the first Super Special was by far the best one. I wanted to go on a cruise SO BAD after reading it, and when I finally DID go on a cruise a few years ago, I still remembered this book.I loved the parts about Disney World, even though I've never been there I've been to Disneyland a million times, and loved how Ann Martin captured the 'feel' of Disneyland.I'm sure that these books are dated by todays standards (kids are so much OLDER now than they were when I was a kid), but I still love these books, and pick them up and read them when I need a break from the stress and worry of being an 'old' adult. :-) 5/5 0, October 16, 2007

  Great plot with and real feeling you are there.

  It is about the BSC when the Pike family wins a trip to go on a cruise around the Bahamas and a few days in Disney land. Kristy's Step father{watson} finds out Kristy hasn't been on a hoilday out of the connecticut so since he is a millionaire he did some quick planning so he could take Kristy and her family and the rest of the BSC as well and this book is about the adventres they have when they are on hoilday. 5/5 0, July 11, 1998

  Awesome book!

  My three year old got this book for Christmas and we've read it every night since. He loves it. There are lots of flaps to open on every page and they are very sturdy. If your child watches the show the will love the "mousekatool" flap where they can pick which tool to use. My son can practice counting, shapes, colors, animal sounds. It's awesome! I actually got on Amazon tonight to see if I could buy more books like this one.
