  Just what I wanted

  I have been looking for the True Life Adventures on DVD for a long time. I called Disney a few years ago and then said that they at that time had no plans of producing them. So I looked on Ebay for used 16mm sound prints will little findings.I'm very glad that they are now producing them on DVD they quality of the picture and sound is much better that the 16mm prints that I remember in garde school.   Excellent but don't overpay.

  The reason TLA Vol 1 and Vol 4 are out of print is because they both had issues and require replacement disks to fix the issues. Prowlers of the Everglades had two of the color channels reversed and Secrets of Life is supposed to transition to widescreen for the final reel. I'm guessing Disney must have pulled them from stores and discontinued them. I think it is unfair to charge exorbitant prices for a defective disk that requires replacement. Hopefully they will eventually be released on Blu-ray someday.   Disney should have been put in jail

  If you grew up on Disney's wilderness tales as I did, you may be shocked to find them to have been falsified documentaries. Not only false, but in many cases cruel. In this particular video for instance a polar bear is actually PLACED at the top of a steep snowy hillside and forced to "accidentally fall" several hundred feet. Additionally, this is the title that propagated the myth that lemmings commit suicide. They don't. Walt's producers actually THREW them off a cliff and taped it, saying they jumped...   Another Disney Nature Classic

  When I was a kid, our family always looked forward to Sunday Night and "The Wonderful World of Color". It was an hour of Disney productions. Sometimes there were Disney movies in two parts, sometimes Disney serials like "The Adventures of Davy Crocket", sometimes Disney cartoons, and sometimes we'd get to see some of the fabulous Disney Nature films. I can still see the Disney movies and cartoons if I want but I really miss the Disney Nature films. I went searching and was able to purchase "White Wilderness" which focusses on animal life in the artic. I was reminded early on to watch my weight as I watched the walrusses laboriously waddle around the rocks. The two young polar bears were a hit for viewers of all ages. There were some life and death scenes as well as some very unusual footage of a wolverine in the wild.   We purchased Russell's Wilderness Explorers' Guide for our daughter's 4th birthday party! She adores this movie and has been requesting a movie "UP" birthday party for six months. This book was a hit at the party! It is all about how Russell earned his wilderness explorer badges. We read six of the pages to the children during the party and had them do modified activities to earn their own Wilderness Explorer Badges.   Incredible (s) Pun Intended

  Bought this for my Grandson on it's release date, after reading the previews. I will begin, by saying they do a fantastic job of immensing you into the world of Pixar and their movies. First thing that happens, is it creates you as a Pixar character, by scanning you in, and uses a little trick to duplicate the color of your clothing, into each of your characters attributes. The next thing I would like to mention, is unlike the other Disney Kinect title, this one seems alot easier for the younger ones to get going in the game, making the menu navigation much more responsive and easier to navigate through, which is great. The attention to graphics is also incredible, as the game is being played, you actually fel like you are watching a Pixar movie. The concept of the game is quite simple, your character (A Child), is dropped at a Pixar camp, which you can freely roam around in, stopping and meeting other children in the park, all which will stop and give you their take on what part... 5/5 D.   Kinect as it should be! So fluid my 2 year old loves it!

  This is THE Kinect game we've been looking for: A frustration-free & fun Kinect game! The Kinect motion, menus, and games perform so smoothly and accurately. My 2 year old can start the game without our intervention and can play alone if he wants. We love the variety of the games and the guided part of the beginner's level. This game is so much fun for the entire family!   Purchased for my Son

  My son is eight years old and a Pixar fanatic. He watches the movies daily. He has a few Autism Spectrum Disorder issues and fixates on things pretty hard. Currently, that is Pixar and most of the movies. He has played Toy Story 3 on the PS3 and PSP to the point where he deletes the game each day so he can do it again, so finding a new title for him that incorporates movement was something I was hoping he'd enjoy.I showed this too him, and after some initial coaching he's taken to this like a fish in water. I haven't personally had time to interact with the game much but between himself and his older sister (10) they have been having a blast with it.This is a great game for any fan of the PIxar series.
