    Good Basic Review Guide

    This guidebook is a good place for an out-of-towner to see some of the highlights of Broward County. We have frequented Greater Ft Lauderdale 5 or 6 times a year for the past 3-4 years and have found a lot of the spots the authors pick as good choices for families, couples and singles. They offer a good overall perspective on the area. We particularly thought the review of the real estate market was spot on. Of course there are some true favorites for us that are not listed, and some choices the authors pick that we are not impressed with... but that I think is the norm for any guidebook.We bought the ebook Kindle version of this book - a little difficult to navigate, but gets the job done.     No, really...If you own or plan to open a salon, her show is FULL of advice on what NOT to do. Considering the fact that get flashbacks and may have worked for every jagaloon who thought that it was cool to own a salon and behave like a douche canoe, this show keeps me on my toes as a NEW salon owner!     A LOT MISSING

    Amizon dropped the ball on this one. So much content missing from the actual blueray/DVD. It's just the matches featured on the actual disc, which is cool if it wasn't the same price. There is a full, almost 2 hour, documentary to go along with said matches. This is for the instant streaming, would highly recommend the actual blueray.     Contrary to what the description says, Marty Balin does not appear on this recording. This concert was recorded before he rejoined and the band once again took the name Jefferson Starship. The line up on this concert is:Paul Kantner - Guitar, Vocals, Slick Aguilar - GuitarTim Gorman - Keyboard, Vocals, and Papa John Creach - Violin, VocalsI like Kantner, but his vocal abilities are not strong enough to carry the band without support from other lead and harmony vocalists. Tim Gorman and Papa John do not fit that requirement, although Papa John was a good fiddle player and a unigue artist. Kantner at least needs a female to sing harmony.You may have a different opinion, but just be forewarned about the absence of Marty Balin.     Wonderful Show

    IMO, this is by far the best of the officially released Jefferson Starship shows. For some reason PK has had a tendency to officially release sloppy shows while leaving the best in the vaults &/or collectors circles. This one is the major exception.I would love to also see releases of the similar 2/27/98 (with Diana Mangano in place of Balin & Jack Cassidy in place of Creach) & the 2/25/98 House Of Blues show that at one time was streaming on the HOB website.I highly recommend this one. 5/5 G.     Nobody writes lyrics like Paul Kantner, and his songs of social comment, science fiction futures, and rallying calls to mankind of fates either positive or negative are the true continuance of the American Revolution and freedom of thought. They are spirit strengthening and provide energy to labored souls. That being said, can any live recordings of his performances not be worthwhile? These two Wooden Ships CDs may not be the best recorded, the best performed, or the best selection, but I defy you to listen to them and at some point -- if you're really listening, and you're following the lyrics and the music -- not be absolutely glad you bought them. I got it free when I ordered a Roadmate 1470 several months ago. I appreciate that it's very simple in that you swap one cord for another so you are still using only a single cord that can both power the unit and receive traffic info.Provided I am in an area where there is an active signal to receive, my GPS can show traffic delays either in the overall area or along my specific route when I have entered a destination when I touch the red on screen traffic icon. I live about 30 miles outside Philadelphia and while still in my driveway, it shows traffic delays in and around Philly so it has a reasonable range. When using it for traffic on my route, it can alert me to both slow traffic and stopped traffic and can provide a detour.     Having read some of the negative reviews, I wanted this to work, and I wanted to like it. In the sense that the cord provides power to the GPS, it works. In the sense that it gets past 'Aquiring signal' and actually gives you traffic info..........it does not.And most unfortunate, I paid $50.00 for it and did not get it free as part of a package. Love the 4700 GPS! But this additional accessory adds nothing cost to the experience.To the writers of previous reviews........you were right, you told me so, but I had to see for myself if the stove was actually hot - it was. 1/5 J.
