    BOSE

Best Bose headphones I have ever experienced

Bose is well known in the music industry, mainly because they spend so much money on advertising and self promotion. This is why many non audiophiles purchase Bose. The price is a little higher and everyone kind of assumes "Bose is the best" so they save up their money and get whatever new product they have to offer, thinking it is the best, when many times you can get the same or better quality from other products for much less money. I'm sure some reading this will disagree with me, but this is my opinion and the opinion of many others in the audiophile community.I say all this because I want to let you know that the Bose IE2 earphones are amazing. They are not just another over hyped Bose product. These earphones provide crisp, clear sound at all volume levels, and the fidelity was better than expected at this price range. I normally prefer over the ear (supra aural) type headphones, my favorite being Grado, a company that doesn't advertise but relies on word of mouth... 5/5 eric melzer (montana) - See all my reviews, December 2, 2010

Great set of earphones for the price

Customer Video Review Length:: 5:00 MinsHere is a quick unpacking and fitting review for the Bose Headphones. My apologies when my dog heard somebody walk in the house and started barking, I edited about 95% of that out.I just got back from running a half-marathon with these in my ears the entire time. My first impression is that these were extremely comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, I pretty much forgot they were even there when the music was off during pre-race instructions. The other pair I had, that did not have the StayHear tips, were also comfortable, but this raised the comfort level just a notch. Also, these were very stable. Usually when exercising with any headphones I have to press them into my ear as they shift with all the bouncing that I end up doing. Especially the in-ear, noise isolating ones that give me a headache after an hour of so of use. I did not need to do that ONCE with these headphones. They get in there, they stay there, and are very... 5/5 James Duckett (St. George, Utah) - See all my reviews, September 16, 2010

The Best Headphones I have ever owned

These headphones are simply amazing. I have used Bose headphones before and they are always wonderful. Those were always the over the ear variety and honestly although they sounded great I did not like the feel nor did I find them practical. The price was always far more than I wanted to pay as well. That all changes here. Although the price is not in line with the bargain basement ear buds out there this set is so far above what you get that the price is more than worth the difference. The unique in ear ear bud stabilizer is a thing of genius and make in ear headphones a thing of comfort and improve consistency and quality of the audio experience.Even though much more expensive than many other headphones I found the price to be one that I am OK to pay. These headphones have a remarkable range regardless of price. The bass is full and clear. The sound across the board is very unmuffled and distinct. I am very happy. This product is heads and tails above the... 5/5 Peter Dykhuis (Grandville, MI USA) - See all my reviews, August 26, 2010

Fast, new processor runs cooler, beautiful screen

Customer Video Review Length:: 4:55 MinsI had eagerly been awaiting the new Mid-2012 MacBook Pro upgrade primarily because of the move to the new Intel processor, "Ivy Bridge." The 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 dual-core processor just makes this MacBook Pro fly. And it runs much cooler than its predecessors. I had my laptop running while on my lap for a couple hours and the bottom case was barely warm. Fan noise was not noticeable whatsoever. To be honest, I don't even know if the fan was operating or not, it was that quiet. The aluminum unibody case has remained pretty much unchanged for several years. In fact, my previous MacBook Pro, a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB of RAM has the identical case that this new laptop has... it is designated as Model No: A1278 if you look at the bottom of the laptop case. What Apple threw into the mix, which made my decision of which new Apple laptop to purchase more difficult, was the addition of the Retina Display MacBook. Initially I was... 5/5 M. Erb - See all my reviews, June 22, 2012

    Loving it!

This is not my first Mac computer, and certainly will not be my last. Before I begin, I will say that I am not like a good percentage of the people that will end up writing a review on this computer - I am not an Apple fanboy. I have owned many PC computers as well, and like them too. I currently own a Lenovo laptop as well as my new MacBook Pro, and each have their own strengths and weaknesses. To start with the strengths:1. OSX Lion is a great performer..extremely fast and reliable. I have it installed on my iMac desktop computer as well and love it. Not to mention this comes with a free upgrade to Mountain Lion, which is very nice.2. Screen looks great. Even though it is not the Retina display you can get on the 15.4 inch model, the screen is fantastic. Very bright and crystal clear with excellent color.3. Quietest laptop I have ever owned. Keeps quiet even when the computer is under a heavy load.4. First computer I have owned with USB 3.0. Simply the best computer I've ever used... with one possibly irrelevant issue

I used to be a die hard windows fan. I was always bashing OSx for the usual things (too expensive, too dumb, et cetera, et cetera), and I never really gave it a chance. Windows 7 was my OS of choice from the day it came out, and I used it on many different computers with (or at least what I thought then) good results. It's certainly not a bad OS but...This past holiday season, I got an Asus tablet PC. I wanted to love it, I really did. I gave it a five star review here on Amazon, and I tried my very hardest to use it to it's fullest potential. It was working fine for a while, until I tried the Windows 8 beta. It was all down-hill from there. Viruses, problems (beyond those that should be in a beta, and a general ugliness drove me absolutely insane, and I decided to move away from Windows, at least temporarily. I bought a Chromebook, and while I absolutely love it and highly recommend it, I wanted more out a computer than it offered. So, nearly on a whim, I bought a Mac. I... 5/5 Elizabeth A. The real deal.

This is not a quick read. It is good to put this book down for a little while and digest what these guys were experiencing. The book is not gorey. It is not like The Deer Hunter movie which freaked me out for weeks. It's a bit heavy but with no frills and no drama. It is rather like being there if you were ever in the jungle and knew a mistake was about to be made. 5/5 Frank W. - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) WOW, well done Robert Gouge!

Wow, well done Robert Gouge! This book gives a realistic look into what our soldiers went through in Vietnam and Cambodia. The amount of work that went into this to paint such an accurate and realistic picture is extraordinary. These men were heros but unfortunately society was not ready to welcome them home with open arms. Hopefully, now with the passage of time, people will read this book and give these men the credit they deserve and be a bit more understanding about what they went through. The real hero in this book though is Robert Gouge who took the time and effort to assemble and present the facts. A must buy and read. This book should be used in the classroom too. 5/5 TB - See all my reviews This review is from: Raiding The Sanctuary: Redcatchers in Cambodia, May 12th - June 25th, 1970 (Paperback) Wow, well done Robert Gouge! Printing on fabric, simplified!

This stuff is great--and it really really works! Print any image from a word document onto the sheets of backed fabric. Just manipulate your images on your computer until you have the desired layout and design, print out a trial on a piece of paper and then load into your inkjet printer with the fabric sheets and hit print. Very high quality results. I did not have any problems getting my printer (Canon MP210) to take the sheets, there was absolutely no jamming or slippage. Once your sheet has been printed, carefully peel off the backing and then you are ready sew or other wise use your fabric. The fabric is treated cotton in a pretty fine and smooth weave so it doesn't interfere with images (at least not any of the many that I generated). The resulting fabric is a little stiffer than plain cotton cloth but not by much. Its definitely on the same order of thickness/stiffness as some of the commercially available quilting fabrics so there is no problem integrating your fabric that you... 5/5 Elizabeth Harris (Central Florida) - See all my reviews, June 8, 2011

    Nice!

These arrived as a big brown dry bundle of roots held together by two rubber bands - no leaves at all. I was a bit worried. Put them as received in a vase with water submerging the exposed roots, keeping the rest above water. Within 2 days, leaves started to form. Planted them outside a week ago and they grow like crazy now. All 25 survived. No issues. Great price for 25 (actually 26) plants. 5/5 joojanta (michigan) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Plants take about 3 wks in cold weather to perk up

These wonderful strawberry plants come alive in about three weeks in 50 degree weather. (try to put 'em in EARLY so they bear well the very first year)Hirt's terrific greenhouse is a little too far away, so I buy from them online.Plants are shipped in great packaging to prevent drying out. The strawberries are shipped dormant and bare-rooted, so don't be alarmed when they look totally dead, that's how they should look!Soak in water for a few minutes, and carefully plant so the crown is just above soil line, water in well, they'll perk up in just a couple weeks, (sooner if it's warmer outside) and give you terrific strawberries the first year! This greenhouse has the best selection of tomatoes, peppers and flowers I have seen. Some VERY rare and unusual things to try!Thank goodness they sell here, so everybody can now buy from them, no matter where we are!! 5/5 New Bride "trsgirl" (Cleveland, OH USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: 10 Evie Everbearing Strawberry Plants - BEST BERRY! - Bare Root Plants These wonderful strawberry plants come alive in about three weeks in 50 degree weather. Got berries like crazy

I purchased these berry plants at the beginning of May. They soon arrived, dormant, wrapped in newspaper and not looking like much. But thanks to a previous review, I knew to put the roots in water right away. Three days later on May 15, I was ready to plant them into my Topsy Turvey planter, which I have hanging from our garage, since the pool, cement and dogs means there's no place to plant in the ground. Plus, I'd tried berries in the front yard a couple years prior, but dealing with weeds and bugs was a pain. I harvested my first berries on June 14th...surprising friends on Facebook who were amazed that I had berries so quickly. My plants are growing like crazy and I have a handful of tasty berries every day now...just 6 weeks after planting. I used Miracle Grow water retaining potting soil and also sprinkled some Miracle Grow water soluble plant food...a little into each layer as I inserted the plants...putting it just ABOVE the roots. Thankfully, rain nearly every day, as well... 5/5 Dian D. Chapman "Technical Consultant, MS MVP... (Chicago, IL United States) - See all my reviews, June 26, 2010
The best tasting of the everbearing strawberries
Immediate shipping of 25 bare root plants
Much better tasting and producing berry than 'Ozark Beauty'
Superb flavor makes it an excellent fresh-eating and dessert berry, and its firm texture ensures that it also freezes well
    Hardy in zones 3-8
