    Another funny Griswold vacation...

    Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo put together another hilarious Griswold family vacation. While Ellen (D'Angelo) is busy falling for Wayne Newton, Clark (Chase) continues to screw things up by gambling away all of their vacation money. Eddie (Randy Quaid) somehow manages to meet up with the Griswold's again, continuing to act like a neanderthal. Rusty becomes a high roller and Audrey gets a hangover. If you liked the previous Vacation movies, I recommend Vegas Vacation.     Another Solid Outing with the Griswolds

    Usually when a movie series becomes a "franchise" (i.e. produces multiple sequels), it loses much of the momentum that launched the "franchise" to begin with. Such is not the case with "Vegas Vacation" - the fourth installment of the "Vacation" franchise (the others being "Vacation", "European Vacation", and "Christmas Vacation"). 1997's "Vegas Vacation" was the first "Vacation" movie in 8 years (the previous one being 1989's "Christmas Vacation") and it makes it well worth the wait. The nice thing about this movie is that it basically continues a very successful formula that had been adopted for the previous three movies - and makes it work well.There is one big change for "Vegas Vacation" - John Hughes is not back as the head writer.     The best Vacation movie ever!

    I thought Vegas Vacation was hilarious! It was alot better than the others. My friend and I saw it in the theaters and when we walked out right after the show we were saying we have got to go buy this movie when it hits on video it's awesome! Chevy Chase is funny. Yes, the acting is horrible but the movie is good. I give it 10 stars. 5/5 0, March 16, 2000

    The best Vacation movie ever!

    I thought Vegas Vacation was hilarious! It was alot better than the others.     Great set of movies for the price, Needs better packaging

    I was searching for National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation for a gift. Even in November I could not find it for a decent price (the local big box stores did not have it in stock--in November) Even Amazon had it out of stock.Persistence pays off, though, since I was able to get all four movies for less than $18.00 & with the Amazon Prime trial membership I got them before Christmas too.The day after I ordered this (the Sunday before Christmas) the local big box stores were selling Christmas Vacation for $10-$15, so I think I got a great deal.This is not a traditional box set-- all 4 movies are in one DVD case. The case itself is pretty flimsy since my 2 year old has already destroyed it.Per another review, yes these are widescreen, but we LIKE widescreen.All in all, $18 for 4 classic Chevy Chase movies is a great price. 4/5 C.     Hilarious Collection

    This is one of the funniest comedy series ever to be made. Chevy Chase is really on top of his game in these films. You can probably enjoy most of these films with your family, but number 2 has quite alot of nudity, and number 1 has some swears but i'm sure your kids will be able to watch them with you. In every film, they change the kids to make them stay around the same age, that's what chevy chase said in the commetary in the second one. Vacation- very funny with great plot and actors. This by far would have to be the funniest of the whole series. Since this is a special edition, they put in alot of features which was great because the non special edition version of this dvd had barely any features. The commentary in this is nice. The whole family does the commentary.European Vacation- this is a hilarious sequel to the classic comedy. Chevy Chase is really on top of his game in these films. You can probably enjoy most of these films with your family, but number 2 has quite alot of nudity, and number 1 has some swears but i'm sure your kids will be able to watch them with you. In every film, they change the kids to make them stay around the same age, that's what chevy chase said in the commetary in the second one. Vacation- very funny with great plot and actors. This by far would have to be the funniest of the whole series. Since this is a special edition, they put in alot of features which was great because the non special edition version of this dvd had barely any features. The commentary in this is nice.     Another funny Griswold vacation...

    Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo put together another hilarious Griswold family vacation. While Ellen (D'Angelo) is busy falling for Wayne Newton, Clark (Chase) continues to screw things up by gambling away all of their vacation money. Eddie (Randy Quaid) somehow manages to meet up with the Griswold's again, continuing to act like a neanderthal. Rusty becomes a high roller and Audrey gets a hangover. If you liked the previous Vacation movies, I recommend Vegas Vacation.     Another Solid Outing with the Griswolds

    Usually when a movie series becomes a "franchise" (i.e. produces multiple sequels), it loses much of the momentum that launched the "franchise" to begin with. Such is not the case with "Vegas Vacation" - the fourth installment of the "Vacation" franchise (the others being "Vacation", "European Vacation", and "Christmas Vacation"). 1997's "Vegas Vacation" was the first "Vacation" movie in 8 years (the previous one being 1989's "Christmas Vacation") and it makes it well worth the wait. The nice thing about this movie is that it basically continues a very successful formula that had been adopted for the previous three movies - and makes it work well.There is one big change for "Vegas Vacation" - John Hughes is not back as the head writer. Hughes was the head writer for the previous three "Vacation" movies.     The best Vacation movie ever!

    I thought Vegas Vacation was hilarious! It was alot better than the others. My friend and I saw it in the theaters and when we walked out right after the show we were saying we have got to go buy this movie when it hits on video it's awesome! Chevy Chase is funny. Yes, the acting is horrible but the movie is good. I give it 10 stars. 5/5 0, March 16, 2000

    Awesome 4 Beginners!

    2 weeks in and I have lost 5 pounds. Just jumping into the fitness world without much knowledge, I wanted to learn as much as possible about weight loss. I picked up this book after finding it on a blog and it lays out a simple eating and workout routine for someone looking for a quick plan, a medium plan, and a long term plan. I also learned about the drugs/science in the marketplace today as well as the best tools for tracking calories and staying accountable during the day.     Getting up my courage

    I enjoyed reading this book and devoured it in one sitting. That said, I still need the courage to start. I am a runner who has for years tried to "out-exercise" my sugar laden diet. I have also tried to increase my muscle mass with bouts of strength training.. I am living proof of what the author says... You can't out-exercise a bad diet although I keep trying.. I am not obese, but I continually carry an extra 5 to 10 pounds on a small frame that makes me feel awful about the way I look. ( I will note that many people envy my small frame and so it is hard to garner sympathy for my relatively small weight struggle). I have paid a fortune to a personal trainer who put me on a strict diet and worked me out and got me into the best shape I'd ever been in.
