    Best season yet

I just finished watching the last episode of Season 4 - it has been an amazing season. While I did miss some of the show's regular characters, the addition of new characters and new story lines is simply a reflection of reality. People move in and out of our lives all the time, we meet new people, we lose track of others. As much as I adore the people in Dillon Texas and irrationally think of them as real people, I don't know if I've ever been moved so deeply as I have been this season watching new character Vince. I wanted to reach in through the screen and give him a hug and tell him that he was doing the right thing and that I was proud of him. That's how real this amazing young actor was. The story's shift to a less affluent side of town was also eye-opening and dramatic. Coach and Tammy Taylor continue to show us the most natural and real depiction of married life on television. I just can't say enough good things about this show. I'm so grateful that DirectTV and NBC continue to... 5/5 Lala (Ohio) - See all my reviews This review is from: Friday Night Lights: Season 4 (DVD) I just finished watching the last episode of Season 4 - it has been an amazing season. Still the BEST Show on Television

The writers had quite a task in Season 4 in a short 13-episode season. Unlike so many of the teenage shows, FNLs actually allows its key young actors to move on, sometimes come back ... just as in real life. And it introduces new characters into the lives of the people of Dillon. This coming and going of people in their lives is just as it is in high schools across America.Season 4 centers around Coach Taylor's exile to dilapidated East Dillon High school, while his beloved wife, Tami, remains Principal of Dillon High. The re-districting creates a schism between the Taylors, the Panthers and the Lions, the students of the 2 schools, the Boosters, and the town make for some interesting story-telling. It also creates a further schism between the races and economic classes ... the "haves" and the "have nots." This season mirrors the Great Recession where everyone but a very few struggles. Tami is now the major breadwinner in their family, Coach is still out on a 2 year... 5/5 Dolphin (Vancouver, WA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Friday Night Lights: Season 4 (DVD) The writers had quite a task in Season 4 in a short 13-episode season. The Lights Shine In East Dillion

***Spoiler Free Review of the Season***The fourth season of Friday Night Lights was fantastic! It's a very important season of transition for the show as it attempts to move from the show we knew into the show it has to become. Rather than allow it to become a standard drama that repeats the same stories with the same characters the writer's decided to work on having characters we love move on in realistic fashion at the same time as they introduced us to and tried to make us care for new ones. To help ease the transition the writers wisely cheat to keep familiar faces Landry and Julie around for one more year of high school. Meanwhile Matt Saracen and Tim Riggins are both still struggling to get their lives started this season and they each hold some of it's strongest scenes in a season partially designed to give their amazing characters proper send off.The show can never exist without the continued presence of Eric and Tammy Taylor at it's core to hold all... 5/5 Reconnecting To My Childhood "Time Won't Let ... - See all my reviews This review is from: Friday Night Lights: Season 4 (DVD) ***Spoiler Free Review of the Season***The fourth season of Friday Night Lights was fantastic! 0 5/5 Thomas Lapins (Orlando, Florida USA) - See all my reviews, June 24, 1999

Last of her great collections with some stellar moments

How does a vocalist with the poignance and range of Jane Oliver remain a wallflower in the music world? It remains a mystery and sadness to me.Jane lavishes and captivates the English speaking world with a French flare and eloquence. You think if she were French or Italian she would have brought Europe to its knees. The transient and contemporary world of American culture cannot sustain the subtle and sophisticated calibre of such a songbird."Stay The Night" remains one of my favorite Jane Olivers songs. One of her best arranged songs with memorable lyrics. "Honesty" has some lovely and thoughtful lyrics. Her version of "He's So Fine" saves this song from being a relic of the 60's. It's not a teenybopper song when Jane does it. "Solitare" comes close to the Karen Carpenter version (which is probably the best). Saying that, Jane's voice give this one depth and despair. "Can't Leave You Cause I Love You" continues the pace in Jane's unique style. The rest of the cd is pretty... 5/5 R. Penola (NYC, NY United States) - See all my reviews, September 8, 2002

Works well once it's set up.

We've been using "the bunny", as we call it, for 3 months. Initially I was very frustrated and disappointed when it arrived, but am very happy with it over the long term. I just wish it had batteries. If I were to buy again, I'd get the sheep version.Pros: very effective as an indicator of sleep/wake time. My 2-year old had no trouble understanding the idea.Cons: no battery. all settings reset when the bunny us unpluggedInitial setup does take some time. About 20 minutes. Not because the instructions are hard to understand, but the settings take a bit of time to get right. The first thing my son did was run over and press the buttons, and then pull it to take it with him and unplug it from the wall. So initially it looked like this might not work for a child that loves buttons. This only lasted a short time however. The buttons don't result in any interactivity, so my son now ignores them and knows to leave the bunny on the... 4/5 SC - See all my reviews This review is from: Kid'Sleep Classic, Blue (Baby Product) We've been using "the bunny", as we call it, for 3 months. Great purchase!

We purchased this sleep trainer clock after transitioning our 2 year old (he just turned 2 in late December, so it does work for little ones, too!) to a "big boy bed". Once we transitioned, he went from sleeping until at least 7:00 a.m., to getting up 2 times per night, and waking up for the day at around 5:45 a.m. We bought this item hoping that we could get him to sleep later in the mornings. The first couple days, he paid no attention to whether or not the bunny on the clock was sleeping or awake, despite our efforts to direct his attention to it. But we soon found out that it was operator error (Mom and Dad). We made the mistake of setting the clock to a time that WE wanted him to get up, as opposed to setting it first, for the time that he usually woke up, then gradually setting it back later each day. Once our son realized that the bunny would actually wake up, he became very excited. We made a huge deal about him staying in bed until the bunny woke up, and he beamed, so... 5/5 Boost - See all my reviews This review is from: Kid'Sleep Classic, Blue (Baby Product) We purchased this sleep trainer clock after transitioning our 2 year old (he just turned 2 in late December, so it does work for little ones, too!) to a "big boy bed". Poorly designed

0 2/5 X_HOBBES (NJ, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Kid'Sleep Classic, Blue (Baby Product) It works, but I'm disappointed by the poor design.PROs:- Effective (once you teach your child that he/she needs to sleep while the bunny sleeps, it works well)- 3 brightness levels- Audible alarm (although I don't use it)- Colorful bunny imageCONs:- No battery backup (every time the power interrupted, you need to reprogram the whole thing)- Tiny LCD screen is very difficult to read (especially when the room isn't well lit, as in right before you put the kids to sleep)- Setup is confusing (it's hard to know if you're setting up the time or the alarm)- Holding down a button while adjusting time doesn't continue to adjust the time; you need to click, click, click, click, click all the way through- Removable image plate comes off way too easily; it needs to be taped in place so your kids don't remove itFor the price, I would have expected a lot better of a product. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 16, 2011

Kids and parents get more sleep
The Kid'Sleep Classic combines a night light, wake up indicator for young children and an alarm clock for older children
The Kid'Sleep helps young children have an understanding of when it is time to get out of bed and when it is not; It is a great tool for nighttime self regulation
Children naturally relate to the sleeping and awake character; Color recognition is not required
